Michele Berrol - Founder/Principal
Michele has been professionally designing and consulting for both commercial and residential spaces since 2018, when she founded Michele Berrol Interior Designs (MBI). She previously taught as a general education teacher in Williamsburg, Brooklyn after her receiving an undergraduate degree in Communications and Video Production and then Master’s in General and Special Education. Michele’s passion for design long preceded her professional career. While she was often a resource for friends and family, it wasn’t until she and her husband opened their restaurant that her love and admiration for design was catalyzed into a full-time job. After earning her certification as an Interior Designer from the Metropolitan Institute of Interior Design and founding MBI, Michele could share her craft, facilitate her client’s vision and execute timelessly designed spaces.
As principal, Michele is recognized for her ability to curate current yet refined interiors by blending comfort with high style. She brings warmth to all her projects by creating layers and textures using organic materials and a tailored design plan for each client. Michele believes in communication and setting realistic expectations for her clients at all stages of the process.
Michele resides with her husband and two children in Oyster Bay, New York. Michele is excited about the opportunity for continued collaboration in her future projects.
Kerri Anderson - Designer
Kerri Anderson is the Lead Interior Designer at Michele Berrol Interiors, where she works closely with the firm’s Principal to develop refined, thoughtfully layered interiors that balance beauty, function, and longevity. She has been working in the interior design field since 2021 and brings a hands-on, detail-driven approach to every phase of the design process.
She began her career under the mentorship of an established interior designer, where she developed a strong technical and creative foundation through direct involvement in drafting, space planning, sourcing, and project coordination.
Her aesthetic leans organic modern with transitional influences, favoring natural stones, warm woods, and materials that age gracefully. She is drawn to neutral, earthy palettes and believes the most successful interiors feel timeless, intentional, and deeply connected to how clients live.
Kerri earned her undergraduate degree from Santa Clara University in California, graduating with a degree in Communications with an emphasis in Film Production. Her background in visual storytelling informs her approach to composition, balance, and narrative within a space.
Originally from New Canaan, Connecticut, she now resides in Huntington, Long Island with her boyfriend and their Shih Tzu–Bichon mix, Sophie Pickles.
